Request To Take a Driver Safety Course (DSC)

Use this form to request to take a driver safety course if you are eligible according to the rules below.

You can request to take a driving safety course if:

It is prior to your initial appearance date
You have not taken a driving safety course in the past 12 months
You do not have a commercial driver's license
You were not driving a commercial vehicle
You were not cited for speeding 95+ mph or 25+ mph over the speed limit
You have current, valid car insurance
You have a Texas driver's license or are an active military member living in Texas or their dependent.
