Location: 700 block of West William Cannon Drive
On Friday, November 28, 2025, at approximately 6:19 p.m., Austin Police (APD) officers, along with Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) and Austin Fire (AFD), responded to the scene of a failure to stop and render aid crash in the 700 block of West William Cannon Drive. First responders arrived at the scene and located a victim, who was then transported to a local hospital with serious bodily injuries. The vehicles involved left the scene immediately after the crash.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of a dark colored pickup truck, possibly a 2015-2022 Chevrolet Colorado with a bed cover, collided with a moped operator before she left the scene without stopping or rendering aid. While the moped operator was on the ground, a silver sedan driven by a male ran over the victim. The pickup truck will have front-end collision damage with the majority being on the front right.
Suspect vehicle 1 is described as:

- Female driver
- Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck
- Possibly 2015-2022
- Dark Colored with bed cover
- May have damage on the front ride side of the truck as a result of the crash
Suspect vehicle 2 is described as:
- Male driver
- Sedan
- Silver in color
