Austin 3-1-1 is proud to announce the launch of its fully translated Spanish mobile app experience, making City services even more accessible for Spanish-speaking Austinites. This initiative reflects the City of Austin's continued commitment to inclusivity, accessibility and customer service excellence.
Community members can now report City-related issues via the Austin 3-1-1 mobile app in Spanish: from browsing City department information to submitting service requests to receive follow-ups. Whether it's reporting a pothole, requesting assistance with code compliance or checking on the status of their service request, Spanish-speaking Austinites can now navigate the entire process in their preferred language.
"By removing language barriers, Austin 3-1-1 is taking another step toward making sure all community members can engage with and benefit from City services," said Kerry Overton, Deputy General Manager & Chief Customer Officer.
This enhancement represents the culmination of months of collaborative work across internal departments within Austin 3-1-1.
"Our team reviewed and translated the mobile app with care, emphasizing clear communication and usability to support an accessible, user-focused customer experience and engagement," said Richard Castillo, Austin 3-1-1 Director.
The Austin 3-1-1 mobile app is available for free download on both Android and iOS devices. Once downloaded, users can simply switch their language preferences to Spanish to access the newly launched interface. Download the Austin 3-1-1 app today!
