All Austin Parks and Recreation Facilities Will Be Closed on Monday, May 11 for an All-Staff Training

All Austin Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, May 11, 2026, for an all-staff training. Facilities closing include pools, golf courses, activity/recreation/senior centers, cemetery and administrative offices. Parks and other green spaces will remain open.

The all-staff Austin Parks and Recreation training will bring our team together to strengthen skills and coordination so we can continue providing high-quality programs, spaces and services for our community. We appreciate your understanding.

Barton Springs Pool will be closed after the early morning "swim at your own risk" period.
