Barton Springs Pool Closed Due To Flooding

Barton Springs Pool, 2131 William Barton Dr., is closed until further notice due to flooding from recent rains.

Murchison Pool, 7022 Hart Ln., is closed for mechanical repairs until further notice.

Austin Parks and Recreation is proud to announce that the City has climbed the 2026 ParkScore® rankings to 47th in the country. Austin earned 54.0 out of 100 points for the annual nationwide rating published by Trust for Public Land (TPL).

Austin Parks and Recreation acquired 50 acres of parkland along Onion Creek, advancing the City’s long-term goal to ensure every resident lives within a 5 minute or a 10-minute walk of a park and preserving critical open space in southeast Austin.

Zilker Loop shuttle transports people throughout Zilker Metropolitan Park from May 23 to September 7, 2026. Shuttle is a free, convenient way for people to move through Zilker Park.
