Barton Springs Pool Will Reopen Tuesday, June 23

Barton Springs Pool, 2131 William Barton Dr., will reopen Tuesday, June 23, for the early morning regularly scheduled "swim at your own risk." The pool was closed on June 15 due to heavy rain and flooding. 

Austin Parks and Recreation's Aquatics staff removed large tree branches, aluminum cans, fishing hooks, and other debris from the pool water. The teams cleaned off the decks and reinstalled the diving board and lifeguard stands in preparation for the pool's reopening.
