Effective Immediately: Termination of Burning Restriction for Austin Parks and Recreation

Austin Parks and Recreation is issuing a Termination of the Parks Burning Restriction for all City of Austin parkland, effective immediately. The department is committed to protecting the City’s parks and surrounding communities and will continue to evaluate the wildfire risk on an ongoing basis. If conditions worsen and the threat of wildfire increases, a Parks Burning Restriction will be activated.
