Join Austin Parks and Recreation at 2701 South Lakeline Blvd. for the Ridgeline Neighborhood Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, June 3 at 10 a.m. This is an outdoor event, so attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably for the weather.

This 10.45-acre park development preserved natural features including forested areas, a wetland ecosystem, and two small streams while adding community amenities including a loop trail, public sidewalk, picnic areas, park signage, bicycle racks, trash receptacles, a drinking fountain, safety fencing as well as native grass and wildflower seeding and plantings.

Ridgeline Neighborhood Park was acquired through parkland dedication associated with the development of Lakeline Mall in 1987. Austin Parks and Recreation conducted two community engagement meetings to identify preferred features that best serve the surrounding neighborhood. The park’s concept plan was approved in summer 2022.
