Admission

Barton Springs Pool charges admission from Spring Break through October 31. At all other times, admission is free.

Buy tickets online

You can buy tickets through the online portal or by using the ATXSwims app. You will need to sign up for an account.

Present your ticket to the cashier to get into the pool. Tickets are valid until the end of the day.

At a kiosk

You can purchase tickets at the kiosks outside both entrances to the pool. The kiosks accept credit and debit cards.

At the cashier window

Cash may be used at the cashier window at either pool entrance.

How to buy season passes

Season passes are valid while admission is charged. Season passes also include parking at our two parking lots and all other City of Austin pools.

You can buy a pass online or using the ATXSwims app.

To pay in cash or to get a family pass, visit us in person at the Aquatic Office (2818 San Gabriel St, open Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 AM).

Anyone seen smoking or with an open container of alcohol will be asked to leave.

Barton Springs Pool is located at 2201 William Barton Dr, Austin, TX 78746.

By car

Park in one the two designated parking areas:

  • Monday through Friday: Free
  • Weekends and holidays, March 1 – Labor Day: $7 per vehicle
By bus

Take the 30 bus line and get off at the Barton Springs (Zilker Park) stop. Walk five minutes down William Barton Dr. to reach the main entrance.

By shuttle

The free shuttle is only available on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor day. It runs 10 AM – 6 PM.

When catching the shuttle, you may park in the One Texas Center parking garage at 505 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78704.

The free shuttle runs from One Texas Center to Zilker Metropolitan Park and back.
