Boil Water Notices

There is no Boil Water Notice in effect for Austin Water customers at this time. If a notice is issued in the future, we will post updates here and share information through local news media and our official channels.

A Boil Water Notice is issued when testing indicates that tap water may not be safe to drink without boiling first. The information on our Boil Water Notice page explains what a notice means, what you should do while one is in effect and how we will let you know when it has been lifted.
