Ancestry 101: An Introduction

A free Ancestry.com introduction workshop at the Carver Genealogy Center

Please join us from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Carver Genealogy Center, 1163 Angelina Street on November 14, 2026 for a fun workshop! Ancestry is one of the world's most widely used genealogy websites, with truckloads of databases that can be harnessed to track down long lost family members. Census records, marriage licenses, death certificates even headstone information can be discovered and utilized.

Patrons will receive an education from the Carver Genealogy Center's own Heather Jarmon on the basics of how to use Ancestry to locate family members. This will be an ongoing program begining November 2026 and run through November 2027.
