Carver Caver - Afterschool Teen Program

Calling all Teens! Are you looking for a fun, creative and safe space for your teens after school? Meeting Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:30–5:00pm starting September 14th to October 7th, the Carver Cave is a free 4-week afterschool experience designed exclusively for teens ages 11–14. This exciting program blends today's most popular trends with the rich history, creativity, and culture of the African American community.

Week 1: Cooking with Carver
Teens will step into the kitchen to create fun, easy-to-make snacks and desserts while learning basic culinary skills.

Week 2: Crafty Couture
Bring your favorite denim jacket, jeans, or tote bag and transform it into a one-of-a-kind fashion statement! Teens will customize their pieces using patches, rhinestones, and other creative embellishments.

Week 3: Movies & Money
Financial literacy meets fun! Teens will learn money management basics, budgeting tips, and smart spending habits before relaxing with a featured movie and concession-style snacks.

Week 4: TikTok Dance University
Learn the latest trending dances from a professional dance instructor and social media influencer while building confidence, coordination, and performance skills in a fun, energetic environment.
