Genealogy Workshop: Learning how to use Ancestry

Join us on Thursday July 2, 2026, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the George Washington Carver Genealogy Center for a new workshop presented in partnership with the team at Oakwood Cemetery. Facilitator Heather Jarmon will help guide guests on tracing their ancestral lineage using Ancestry.com. The Carver Genealogy Center will provide laptops and worksheets for guests to follow along every step of the way! Learn to use Ancestry.com and other similar websites with help from the Carver Genealogy team.

 This event is open to Save Austin's Cemeteries (SAC) members as well as the public with limited spaces available. This event will be a first come, first serve basis with a cap limit of 22 people. Register today!
