Land Use Assistance

Land Use Assistance (LUAssist), formerly Land Development Information Services (LDIS), helps applicants and the general public understand land development regulations, submit land development applications, and provides case management for applications in review.

Appointments

Site Plan Review, Exemptions, Corrections, and Revision Questions

The Land Use Assistance (LUAssist) staff, previously known as the Land Development Information Services (LDIS), can answer general site plan questions such as which Site Plan Application to submit, the site plan process and requirements, Site Plan Exemptions, Corrections, Revisions, and Conditional Use Permits for commercial and multi-family properties, as well as residential and commercial boat docks.

Subdivision/Land Status Determination Questions 

The Land Use Assistance (LUAssist) staff, previously known as the Land Development Information Services (LDIS), can answer general questions regarding the subdivision application process, requirements, and land status determinations (i.e., exceptions to subdivision platting), as well as determine if the property is a platted lot.  

For questions on a Subdivision project currently in review, please contact the Case Manager.

Temporary Use Permits 

Ask general questions about Temporary Use Permits, which are for private property. View the Temporary Use Permit Application (PDF) for more information. 
 

  • Explore Special Event permits on the AB+C Portal for the temporary use of public property.
