Learn how to bring your artwork to life beyond the gallery wall through the power of documentation. This workshop covers how to capture high-quality photographs of your work while exploring how photo and video documentation can support promotion, storytelling, and building your creative presence. Participants will gain practical tips on lighting, composition, and framing, along with strategies for transforming documentation into content that connects with audiences.
Presented by Darryl Demps
Darryl Demps is a visual artist, photographer, and creative storyteller based in Austin, Texas. His practice combines fine art, photography, and videography, often using documentation as a way to amplify and share the stories behind artwork. Darryl has experience managing social media for artists and galleries, producing creative content, and leading projects that connect communities through art. He is passionate about helping artists showcase their work in ways that are both professional and authentic.
