The Austin Police (APD) Aggravated Assault Unit requests the public's assistance in identifying a suspect, whose description is included below, in connection to a case involving Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon at the Hilton hotel located at 411 East 5th Street. 

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 2:22 a.m., the suspect approached the victim following several earlier confrontations that involved both verbal and physical disturbances. As he ran toward the victim, the suspect pulled a firearm from his waistband and punched the victim in the face. The suspect then left the scene and was last seen walking eastbound on East 5th Street from Neches Street.



The suspect is described as:

• Black male
• Black durag on head
• Last seen wearing a blue Bathing Ape brand varsity style jacket with white sleeves, light colored pants, and black and yellow shoes
