Join Austin Parks and Recreation, Austin Parks Foundation and community members on June 11 at 10 a.m. for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the renovation of the Montopolis Neighborhood Park Pool and Playground at 1200 Montopolis Rd. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather.

Montopolis Park Pool Renovations include a refreshed look and new amenities designed to enhance comfort, accessibility, and family fun. Updates include new family changing rooms and showers, a zero‑depth entry for improved accessibility, expanded shade through both structures and new trees, and upgraded picnic and seating areas. Guests will also enjoy a renovated year‑round restroom, a new water slide, and vibrant landscaping featuring a rain garden that supports sustainable stormwater management. Community engagement for the project began in 2022.

Austin Parks and Recreation Aquatic staff are excited to invite residents back to this cherished community space. Sign up for swimming lessons for a variety of ages and skill levels this summer. Learn more at AustinTexas.gov/Swimming
