AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for January 2026 was up 2.77% compared to January 2025, with 1,435,466 passengers flying during the month.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for January 2026 was 1,435,466, up 2.77% compared to January 2025. January 2026 enplanements totaled 703,747, up 3.05%.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 562,762, down 0.3%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 273,062, up 28.8%; American Airlines passengers totaled 211,460, down 19.5%; United Airlines passengers totaled 198,397, up 1.3%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 47,284, down 6.9%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 41,510, up 91%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 30,850, up 50.8%; British Airways passengers totaled 15,408, up 9.4%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 12,511, up 120.3%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 8,445, up 4.9%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 6,840, down 42.4%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 6,140, up 16.8%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 5,780, up 26.7%; Air Canada passengers totaled 5,729, up 7.5%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 5,162, up 14%; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 3,662, up 8.4%; and Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 464, down 38.5%. 

January 2026 air cargo totaled 19,100,288 lbs., down 6.12% compared to January 2025.

International air cargo totaled 1,457,487 lbs., up 2.32%.

Air Transport International carried 7,751,334 lbs., down 0.3%; Federal Express carried 3,339,921 lbs., down 11.5%; United Parcel Services carried 2,521,316 lbs., up 3.7%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 1,865,755 lbs., up 25.8%.

Air Services transferred 0 lbs. of mail and 2,093,407 lbs. of belly freight, down 18.07%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 3,356, up 1.51%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 19,974, up 5.25%.
