AUS Information & Interview Requests
All media inquiries for information or interviews with airport officials must be directed to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) Public Information & Marketing Division. Interviews are not provided after hours, on holidays, or on weekends except in the case of emergencies.
Journalists are requested to limit their outreach to members of the AUS Public Information & Marketing team. Other AUS personnel have been instructed not to respond to requests for information and will direct you to AUS Public Information & Marketing.
For information regarding parking, broadcasting guidelines, emergency coverage and more, please review the AUS Media Guide (updated May 2023). If a journalist is new to working with Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, it is encouraged that they review our media guide for information on security and other protocols.
News Regarding Airlines and Partners
When covering events at AUS that concern airlines, tenants, or other business partners, news media should direct questions to the public relations representative for that respective business. When asking about the impact of an event on airport operations, questions should be directed to the AUS Public Information & Marketing Division.
