AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for September 2025 was up 3.87% compared to September 2024 with 1,729,398 passengers flying during the month.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for September 2025 was 1,729,398, up 3.87% compared to September 2024. September 2025 enplanements totaled 854,449, up 3.53%.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 680,344, up 5.8%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 342,261, up 18.9%; American Airlines passengers totaled 262,651, down 20.3%; United Airlines passengers totaled 225,364, up 11.6%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 57,701, down 10.4%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 55,017, up 147.4%; British Airways passengers totaled 22,619, up 25.9%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 16,199, down 6.9%; Air Canada passengers totaled 12,823, up 7.5%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 12,728, down 15.4%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 9,102, down 7%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 7,901, up 54.3%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 7,495, down 55%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 6,181, up 6.8%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 4,287, down 6.4%; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 3,021, down 13.7%; WestJet passengers totaled 2,482, down 4.4%; and Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 1,222, up 21.5%.

September 2025 air cargo totaled 24,547,196 lbs., up 3.07% compared to September 2024.

International air cargo totaled 2,174,386 lbs., down 11.7%.

Air Transport International carried 9,188,033 lbs., up 28.6%; Federal Express carried 3,882,086 lbs., down 22.9%; Sun Country Airlines carried 3,412,324 lbs., up 100.7% and United Parcel Services carried 2,505,114 lbs., up 5.6%.

Air Services transferred 4,352 lbs. of mail, down 29.1%; and 2,950,209 lbs. of belly freight, down 20.57%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 3,967, up 1.02%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 22,043, up 2.96%.


January – September 2025


Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for January – September 2025 was 15,867,170, down 2.37% compared to January – September 2024. January – September 2025 enplanements totaled 7,936,397, down 2.2%.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 6,482,555, down 3.2%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 2,799,046, up 14.4%; American Airlines passengers totaled 2,601,879 down 20.8%; United Airlines passengers totaled 1,979,971, up 5.3%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 529,872, down 10.1%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 384,631, up 183%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 249,432, up 2.7%; British Airways passengers totaled 189,709, up 28.1%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 168,348, down 33.4%; Air Canada passengers totaled 97,455, up 1.2%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 77,922, up 43.6%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 70,587, up 1.2%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 65,159, down 60.1%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 57,309, up 4.6%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 44,613, up 2.2%; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 31,282, up 47.6%; WestJet passengers total 15,105, up 16.8%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 12,924, down 73.4%; Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 8,212, down 28.4%; Privilege Style S.A. passengers totaled 763; and TUI Airways passengers totaled 396.

January – September 2025 air cargo totaled 205,498,439 lbs., down 9.37% compared to January – September 2024.

International air cargo totaled 22,221,519 lbs., up 5.7%.

Air Transport International carried 80,278,418 lbs., up 10.8%; Federal Express carried 35,253,771 lbs., down 41%; United Parcel Services carried 22,740,779 lbs., up 5.7%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 18,672,970 lbs., up 27.6%.

Air Services transferred 43,616 lbs. of mail, down 91.44%; and 28,043,093 lbs. of belly freight, down 8.21%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 31,244 for January – September 2025, down 0.04%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 195,570, up 0.64%.
