AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for March 2025 was down 3.38% compared to March 2024 with 1,851,308 passengers flying during the month.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for March 2025 was 1,851,308, down 3.38% compared to March 2024. March 2025 enplanements totaled 921,044, down 2.89%.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 777,291, down 5.5%; American Airlines passengers totaled 301,962, down 21.1%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 297,158, up 18.3%; United Airlines passengers totaled 243,692, up 2.7%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 59,505, down 12.3%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 48,504, up 337.4%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 35,849, down 3.5%; British Airways passengers totaled 18,661, up 4.8%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 15,368, down 47.4%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 8,946, up 65.3%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 7,871, down 66.8%; Air Canada passengers totaled 7,251, up 6.1%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 6,816, up 12%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 6,608, up 16.5%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 6,489, up 35.4%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 4,406, down 18.6%; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 3,526, up 249.8%; and Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 1,405, down 35.5%.

March 2025 air cargo totaled 25,251,356 lbs., up 0.66% compared to March 2024.

International air cargo totaled 3,541,104 lbs., up 52.88%.

Air Transport International carried 8,778,078 lbs., up 7%; Federal Express carried 4,018,147 lbs., down 41.8%; United Parcel Services carried 2,391,986 lbs., up 2.4%; Atlas Air carried 1,945,831 lbs., up 13.9%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 1,942,178 lbs., up 31.6%.

Air Services transferred 258 lbs. of mail, down 99.45%; and 3,509,560 lbs. of belly freight, up 0.51%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 3,831, down 4.03%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 22,643, down 0.30%.
 

January – March 2025
 

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for January – March 2025 was 4,623,968, down 4.94% compared to January – March 2024. January – March 2025 enplanements totaled 2,291,083, down 4.71%.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 1,918,680, down 5.9%; American Airlines passengers totaled 813,624, down 24.1%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 724,234, up 15.8%; United Airlines passengers totaled 632,155, up 5.3%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 153,147, down 11.6%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 93,375, up 392.4%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 74,514, down 8.8%; British Airways passengers totaled 46,309, up 10.3%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 33,774, down 43.7%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 24,392, up 62.6%; Air Canada passengers totaled 18,820, up 15.2%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 18,106, down 69.2%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 16,112, up 22.7%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 15,927, up 8.7%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 14,927, up 2.7%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 12,924, down 6%; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 9,873, up 879.5%; and Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 3,075, down 22.1%.

January – March 2025 air cargo totaled 65,389,317 lbs., down 9.73% compared to January – March 2024.

International air cargo totaled 7,079,549 lbs., up 18.05%.

Air Transport International carried 23,670,057 lbs., down 5%; Federal Express carried 11,174,249 lbs., down 40.5%; United Parcel Services carried 7,125,715 lbs., up 1.5%; Sun Country Airlines carried 5,113,643 lbs., up 24.1%; and Atlas Air carried 4,690,104 lbs., down 11.8%.

Air Services transferred 844 lbs. of mail, down 99.77%; and 9,033,585  lbs. of belly freight, down 3.94%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 10,400 for January – March 2025, down 1.19%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 60,057, down 2.39%.
