AUSTIN, Texas -Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) announced today that Delta Air Lines will launch five new nonstop routes starting Spring 2025, an expansion that positions the airline to have the second-largest market share at the Central Texas airport based on daily departing flights.

Delta will resume nonstop service to Memphis, Tennessee, a previously and introduce four popular nonstop cities from AUS: Panama City, Florida, Tampa, Florida; San Francisco, California; and Indianapolis, Indiana. These flights will operate once daily each day of the week.

“Delta’s decision to expand its service in Austin is a testament to our city's thriving economy and vibrant community,” said T.C. Broadnax, Austin City Manager. “These five new flights will not only enhance connectivity for our residents and businesses but also contribute to Austin’s reputation as a premiere destination for travel and commerce. We are thrilled to welcome Delta's continued investment in Austin.”

“Delta is continuing to build its presence in Austin with new routes to more business and leisure destinations across the U.S.” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s S.V.P. – Network Planning. “With 55 peak-day departures planned for Summer 2025, Delta is reaffirming its commitment to Austin, giving our customers even more opportunities to connect to our global network.”

The Panama City, Indianapolis and Memphis routes will be served by the Delta Connection carrier SkyWest’s fleet of Embraer 175s with the San Francisco and Tampa routes served by the Airbus 220-300. Delta SkyMiles customers traveling to San Francisco or Tampa will be able to enjoy Delta’s fast, free wifi onboard, as well as 1,000+ hours of in flight entertainment. Eligible customers can enjoy the Delta Sky Club at AUS, which boasts 9,000 square feet to relax, experience culinary specialties and beverages before boarding their flight.

Departs Austin at 2:30 p.m. Arrives in Panama City at 4:28 p.m.
Departs Panama City at 5:10 p.m. Arrives in Austin at 7:19 p.m.

 

Austin (AUS) to Indianapolis (IND)

Embraer 175

Service starts May 7, 2025

Departs Austin at 9:50 a.m. Arrives in Indianapolis at 1:30 p.m.
Departs Indianapolis at 2:10 p.m. Arrives in Austin at 3:55 p.m.

 

Austin (AUS) to Memphis (MEM)

Embraer 175

Service starts May 7, 2025

Departs Austin at 7:59 p.m. Arrives in Memphis at 9:59 p.m.
Departs Memphis at 7:05 a.m. Arrives in Austin at 9:05 a.m.

 

Austin (AUS) to San Francisco (SFO)

Airbus 220-300

Service starts June 8, 2025

Departs Austin at 9:40 a.m. Arrives in San Francisco at 11:10 a.m.
Departs San Francisco at 1:15 p.m. Arrives in Austin at 5:30 p.m.

 

Austin (AUS) to Tampa (TPA)

Airbus 220-300

Service starts June 8, 2025

Departs Austin at 7:25 p.m. Arrives in Tampa at 10:59 p.m.
Departs Tampa at 7 a.m. Arrives in Austin at 8:45 a.m.
