City-owned property and facilities
The City of Austin owns properties throughout the City and in surrounding counties, both for specific uses by City departments, as well as public uses such as parks and recreation.

City properties for lease
Occasionally City-owned properties may be available for lease. Information on those properties and instructions for submitting proposals will be posted here. Please submit all inquiries regarding properties available for lease in writing to Leasing@austintexas.gov.

Texas Landowner’s Bill of Rights
The Texas Attorney General’s Office posts the Landowner’s Bill of Rights. This Landowner’s Bill of Rights applies to any attempt to condemn your property. The contents of this Bill of Rights are set out by the Texas Legislature in Texas Government Code section 402.031 and chapter 21 of the Texas Property Code.
