Austin Financial Services (AFS) plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial and economic integrity of the City. AFS is dedicated to transparency, offering reliable and complete financial information to the City Council, City management and the community.
Our department supports financial and real estate processes from preparing the annual financial report, procurement services, franchise agreements, real estate transactions, real estate redevelopment activities and overseeing the City’s property, investment portfolio and debt management. AFS is proud to serve and act as a leader in financial management to its partner departments.

- Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports
View the City of Austin’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports, including archives of past reports. The ACFR provides Austinites with a detailed look at the City’s finances, including how money is earned and spent.
- Real Estate
The City of Austin owns and leases properties throughout Austin and neighboring counties for public and municipal use. With the Property Profile GIS Viewer, you can easily search for City-owned land and facilities. Any potential leasing opportunities, when available, will be listed on the website.
- Vendor Academy
Discover how to successfully do business with the City. This program will give you the tools and information you need to better understand the City’s procurement programs and policies. If you sell goods, offer services, or do construction work, Vendor Academy will teach you the basics to help your business succeed.
