Austin Water Projects

The Ivanhoe Trail Pipeline Renewal Project is part of Renewing Austin, a program dedicated to strengthening our community’s water infrastructure as we prepare for the needs of the future.

Austin Water has designed improvements to the Lookout Lane Pump Station at 3205 Lookout Lane, and construction is scheduled to begin soon.

The McNeil Drive Transmission Main Project will bring increased capacity for moving drinking water from the Handcox Water Treatment Plant to customers in Northwest Austin by installing 8,500 linear feet of new pipeline along McNeil Drive.

The Merion Circle Water and Wastewater Renewal is part of Renewing Austin, Austin Water's ongoing program to replace aging water and wastewater infrastructure throughout the city.

Austin Water is improving water service in the Northwest A & B Pressure Zones, an area in Northwest Austin west of US 183 and Jollyville Road and north of Loop 360.

In the Old Enfield neighborhood, Austin Water will install 3,640 linear feet of new water lines and 6,600 linear feet of new wastewater lines.

Austin Water has made plans to improve water pressure for customers along the West and East Oltorf corridors. This project will start the process and take place near the Travis Heights neighborhood.

Austin Water has installed miles of purple pipe carrying reclaimed water across the city and is working to complete a central reclaimed water ring. The Oltorf Reclaimed Water Project Phase 2 will complete this core network.

The Parker Lane Pipeline Renewal Project is part of Renewing Austin, a program to improve water infrastructure by replacing main lines that are aging and breaking.
