Austin Water Projects

The East Allandale Water and Wastewater Improvement Project is part of Renewing Austin, an Austin Water program to replace and upgrade water lines.

This project will reconstruct and realign portions of Fallwell Lane farther from the river to reduce flood risk, stabilize eroding streambanks and improve drainage infrastructure. These improvements will protect critical City facilities.

The Garden Villa Lane Water and Wastewater Pipeline Renewal Project is part of Renewing Austin, an Austin Water program to replace and upgrade aging water lines.

The Gillis Street project is part of Renewing Austin, Austin Water's ongoing program to replace aging water and wastewater mains throughout the city. This work conserves water and improves service reliability.

The Glenlake Pump Station Bypass Improvements Project will install about 1,000 linear feet of new water line and will decommission the existing pump station and water tanks located at 9809 Glenlake Drive, among other improvements.

The Great Hills Lift Station, located at 9009-1/2 Spicebush Drive, has outlived its expected useful life. The station is in an environmentally sensitive area, making rehabilitation a priority for maintaining reliable wastewater service.

Through the Guildford Cove Pump Station Improvements Project, Austin Water will install two new tanks to expand capacity and redundancy; replace and refurbish equipment; and replace valve vaults on Maury’s Trail and Bell Mountain.

Through the Guildford Cove Boosted Pressure Zone Waterline Improvements Project, Austin Water will install 7,500 linear feet of new water mains in the part of the Long Canyon neighborhood

The Hyde Park - East 38th Street Wastewater Pipeline Renewal Project will replace approximately 1,800 linear feet of aged wastewater mains lines and 46 linear feet of service lines.
